, Tampere (old backlog). Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized white head, which disappears quite quickly. Aroma is mild acidic wood, some sweetness, citrus and mild yeastiness. Flavour is citrus, some yeast, mild acidic/tart wooden notes as well as some herbs. Kind of sweetish sour, which is pleasant.

Lovely aroma. Thin white head. Hazy blond pour. This beer has aged very well. Very good for the style. kermis (14191) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 22, 2015
Bottle shared with Deanso. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma is floral, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter. Massive floral palate with a lacto milkshake, light strawberry quality coming out. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. I didn’t expect much from this beer but it’s really unique and actually pretty decent. Stuu666 (14139) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 21, 2015
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy yellow amber, huge peach on nose, and in taste, dry and refreshing. Alengrin (5539) - BELGIUM - SEP 9, 2014
Stronger version of Mort Subite Blanche, sold in 2012 on 37,5 cl bottles with cork. Rocky, sticky, stable, yellowish white head, ochre blonde colour with greenish hue, hazy. Fresh fruit sweetness in the nose, cider, orange peel, lemon juice, strawberry, mango, hay, sherry, wheat, coriander, soap, lemonade - a combination of witbier and sweetened ’capsulekensgeuze’. Same story in the mouth, fresh fruitiness, artificial sugary sweetness, strawberry, sweetened cider, orange, coriander, very light ’lambicness’ in the end but nowhere coming even close to the complexity of a real lambic beer, with some hop bitter in the tail. I understand the historical link between the spontaneously fermented lambic and the top-fermented witbier and I have nothing against trying to combine their refreshing abilities in a summer beer, but why does it have to be so artificial and sugary? Anyway, this was not all uninteresting and I can enjoy this product more than the ordinary version.

(375ml bottle) Pours a hazy pale yellow *slightly green tinged) body with a moderate white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, bubble gum, passion fruit, straw, and florals. Flavor of banana, wheat, earthiness, lime, and stone fruit with a moderately dry finish. skortila (5967) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUN 11, 2014
Bottled. Full 37,5cl sample. The aroma has massive peach/aprikots, some pear. Hazy, golden coloured beer with a white head. The taste is sweet, has some hints of citric sourness but overall massive peachy fruit sweetness. If they only considered some balance, this could have been a nice summer beer. Now it’s not even refreshing. pentaz (1264) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2014
