GreenCat (216) - SLOVENIA - DEC 30, 2017
0,33 l. Pours hazy light golden yellow with a finger of white head. Aroma is apricot and some sour raspberries, light banana, wheat, candy and some yeast. Taste is heavy sweet, very light bitter with some light sourness. Body is quite light, texture slick with quite lively carbonation. Finish is medium, fruity sweet and light sour. Hardly any bitterness at all. Strange one, more weizen than witbier with hardly any qualities of a good lambic. Beer tastes artificial and way to sweet for me.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 Hmm, lambic beer is just not my thing. I get the combination with the witbier, but its just too sweet

It’s ok, I like the aroma but it’s too sweet and at the end of the bottle a bit heavy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Do like the combination of Wit with a hint of fruity Lambic. Probably not going to become a classic, but I think it needs some curious obscurities to make life interesting.

Bottle from Auchan supermarket in Romania. Pours golden and slightly fizzy in the glass with a small white head. Nose is very apricotty. Taste is also quite apricotty and peach with a touch of wheat.

1/VII/17 - 25cl bottle @ my mother in law’s place - BB: 7/XI/16 (2017-963)

One of those beer you just don’t get around to trying, because of all the other, good, beers you have waiting in your fridge.
Clear dark blond beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, peach candy, sugary impression. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, fruity, yeast, bit chemical, sweet touch, peach flavoured candy, soft acidity, some lemon peel. Aftertaste: sweet, peach flavoured candy, some citric acidity, bit artificial.

Bottle from Auchan in Dunkirk, pours a murky amber-brown with a white foam and aromas of banana and Bretty lemon. Like a Witbier with a dose of Lambic. Creamy spicy with Hefeweizen notes, then a lemony sourness comes in. Intriguing.

Bottle from supermarket. Decent witbeer, with huge apricot taste. Pleasant but easy
