Rating #1418 - 25.12.2014 - 330mL bottle #23 in the 2014 Craft BeerAdvent Calendar. Clear golden pour, steady white foam that bubbles away slowly to a soapy ring. Aroma is grassy malts, hints of caramel, lemon. Taste is a mild sweetness, honey, citrus followed by a mild hop bite. Pleasant. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 14, 2015
330 ml bottle. Unclear murky orange brown, abundant sediment left in bottle, fine off-white lasting foam. Dirty Belgian yeasty aroma. Tangy fruity yeasty taste, some citrus and spice, a bit tart and funky, but not in a good way. Average carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Poor. Bottle sample. Hazy copper with medium bubbly off-white head. Sweetish aroma, a bit syrupy with notes of ripe fruits, somewhat acidic. Sweet flavor with some fruitiness (plum, apricot) and graininess, a bit spicy with light bitterness in the finish, the alcohol is quite noticeable. Too carbonated, medium-bodied. The bottle’s bottom is very muddy with lots of yeasts. Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 4, 2015
Cloudy dull blonde. Frothed up a big head that died down. Aroma of stank feet yeastiness, and vague citrus. Fizzy, touch of sweetness, dash of light hop bitterness. Not really coming together. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 1, 2015
330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is bland and a little stale, with cardboard and light Belgian yeast. Flavour is very stale and weirdly spicy -- this is really bad. Some burnt notes, bizarre mix of spices and cardboard make this a drain pour. Nasty.

Bottle, small creamy head, murky dark orange colour, aroma of malt flowers and herbs, malty orangey flavour with a strong coarse bitterness and a noticable alcoholic presence. Bad and quite amateurish. ryanhunter_4 (311) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 17, 2015
330 ml bottle poured at home. Got it from a friend. Pours a cloudy amber color with a thick residual beige head. Lot of yeast on the bottom of the bottle. Smells sweet, almost sugary. Heavily carbonated mouth feel with a sickly sweet aftertaste. I can deal with one but wouldn’t recommend it. DuffMan (10436) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle, from the craft beer advent calendar. ,ore of a new copper amber colour than gold, chunky sediment at the end of the pour. Aroma of latex and apples-- this isn’t promising. Harsh palate, old apples and dirty yeast, intrusive phenols. Blech. pintbypint (3641) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 25, 2014
330ml brown bottle, Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2014. Golden, hazed. Thick and full white cap. Aromas of sweet citrus, honey, but a bit metallic as well. Taste has caramel, apple fruity notes, grass notes, honey, yeast. Mild fruity finish with yeast and washed out citrus. Body is light, soft texture int he mouth. A bit strange, but somehow liked it. dfearnley (2146) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle to pint glass
Fruity esters, plum, overripe apple. As soon as I opened this, it exploded. It was chilled, sat for a day, and I was careful when opening. I immediately grabbed the closest glass and started to pour. To whit, I got about an inch of beer and the rest was head. I put the bottle down to wait for the head to disperse and even still it flowed out. The colour is a sludgey amber brown with lots of particulates. However, very little retention left it bare quite quickly. Taste is bubble gum, yeast, rotting apple, late bitterness.
