Artebirra Pasturana 2008: blanche piuttosto tradizionale non molto speziata ma se la cava bene dai. Faceva un caldo!!! Si è messo a piovere quando siamo andati via.
Sample at the brewpub in Florence. A hazed pale yellow coloured pour with a fine white head aroma is big wheat and perfumed spice, orange rind and a little soapy. Flavour is composed of light orange rind, soapy lavender, wheat, wit yeast. A little rough round the edges. Pretty standard with palate is doughy wheat, moderate carbonation grainy ok. daniele (9573) - ITALY - OCT 6, 2015

Buona birra bianca con sapori d’agrumi, rinfrescante quindi ottima per dissetarsi d’estate. fugitive (2037) - Athens, GREECE - OCT 18, 2011

Pours hazy blond with a thick white head. Some citrus in the aroma and a light Belgian yeast smell, some spices as well. Good flavor though and a decent try at the style. Enjoyable. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - OCT 16, 2008
No head left, slightly hazy straw-yellow beer. Flattish coriander & citrus nose, bit wheat-like acidity, even yoghurt. Bitterish lining around more citric-lactic acidity; this last composed of lactic, citrus and wheat components. Thin body, thinned further by the acidity. Decent witbier, not more. My Bottom Line:
Spicy, flowery coriander seeds accompany crunchy wheat while citrusy fruitiness enhances the quenching aspect of this sparkling and straightforward Witbier.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-Superb creamy foam tops the cloudy beige-white.
-The body is tight and the carbonation prickly, creating a refreshingly bubbly mouthfeel.
-All flavors are balanced and the spiciness isn’t overdone.
-This was the most drinkable beer I had that day at the Prato pub.
On tap at the Prato taproom.
