Draught at Salone Della Birra Artigianale e di Qualità 2007, Milan
6.3% ABV

Hazy amber color. Malty and with some caramel flavors, and a cereal touch. Maybe as a beer it’s not the best, but it has some originality and it’s quite pleasant. Quite sweet too.

FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 2, 2010
sweat malty tingly nettle retronasals. big on the malt, but a bit harsh on the retronasals

As Volpe Bock 6.3% at the brewpub. Nose of caramel, bread, malty. Dark brown with orange tints and a low, fine head. Flavor is cherry, a bit sweet, bready malt, dry finish. Good.

DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2009
Draught at the tap in Firenze. Scabby Duomo tile terracotta, totally muddy and opaque, thin beige collar to a halo. Earthy malt, yeast, ash and citrus aroma, hazelnut, cwoffee. Again some milk and cereal mealiness, nuthusk, malted milk, sup of coffee dregs, full hop bitterness persisting long after swallow, chocolate wafer, grapefruit, soil. Very alive, very Inglese. Solid.

(Draught at One Pint Pub Italian weeks ’10) This was really clean one compared to martellina. Still, I didn’t like this. There was some harshness which was off-putting. There was potential for better beer: nice maltiness, some hops and quite fitting bitterness.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2007
Birra dell’Anno Awards 2007, Milan. Hazy amber colour with off-white head. Rich fruity aroma, with earthy hops plus a blanket of yeast. Slight, slight spicy flavour from Mûnich/Vienna malt with big chewy mouthfeel, yet a bit chalky and raw(questionable fermenting?). Alcohol shows off in taste and in bitterness. Pretty much flavouring hops here.

dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2015
Tap @ their pub in Florence. Brick red (I think - it was dark in there) with a thin tan head. Fruity, malty, sweet but with a grassy hop kick at the end.

Dorqui (2297) - Brescia, ITALY - APR 9, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Draught at "Salone della Birra Artigianale 2007" - Milan.
Intense reddish clearly color with amber and dark orange reflex, lightly hazy with a light fizz. Compact head of short duration. Lightly spiced aromas with notes of withered grape and braced mlat. Rather alcoholic and bitterish taste and with barren final of medium persistence.

LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - JAN 2, 2012
Buona eh, ma un po’ sporchina; sarà che mi è toccato il cambio del fusto (metà fondo metà inizio).
