Tap at Blind Tiger Local Food Bash. Very pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is quite fresh and grassy with a bit of light pils malt crackery flavour. Fresh, balanced and quite tasty. The faintest kiss of estery character. Excellent balance. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2011

Golden in color, slight haze with a thin head. Light malt and hops aroma. Good balance with the malt and hops this was easy drinking and finishes quite dry. Good hot day beer.
Straw colored with minimum head and light lacing. Taste is typical grassy malt with a fair amount of bittering. Drinkable, but not memorable. Travlr (26406) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 13, 2011
Bottle. Yellow color, white head. Aroma of black pepper. Taste is exactly true to the style. Not exciting, but accurate. jsquire (4662) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Yellow beer out of the bottle with a thin white head. Nice white bread toast and some lemon citrus in the nose. Crackers and buscuit maltiness with a nice light lemon citrus note. Clean and crisp.

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with and courtesy of James. Pours a light golden, opaque hue with a modest, white, fizzy head. Aroma is initially of stale urine, but eventually opens up to some lemon. Stale sweat in there as well. Thin, watery body with a stale, slightly bitter/tangy body. Finish is calm and mellow. Good for the style, I guess, but I would never drink this again. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 22, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 Split with pat. Pours a hazy lemonade yellow with slight white lacing. Aroma is urine at first with some fruity notes following. Mouthfeel is light and thin with notes of fruit, German pils, lemon and malt. Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2010
Clear clean dull yellow pour with foamy white head. Very pleasing corn and cream notes. LIghtly grassy. One of the best damn commercial examples of the style that i’ve had. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - DEC 1, 2010
THOUGHTS: Very refreshing. A very flavorful and easy to drink beer. It would make a nice session beer. This gave me new respect for the style.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, pale yellow with a small to average, ever so slightly off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma had, light bread and cracker; moderate to heavy floral hops; light to moderate yeast; and a bit of fruit. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly bitter; while the finish was acidic, sweet, slightly bitter and slightly sour. There was light, crackery malt, slight fruit, light bread, slight honey and floral and perfumy hops. The fairly light body was watery and then sort of dry with fizzy carbonation and a slightly metallic finish. CanIHave4Beers (4238) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - OCT 22, 2010
This seems to be a pretty well loved beer in the Charlotte area I can see why. Pours a golden color with a big white head leaving good lace. The beer is perfectly clear which is a nice look for it. The aroma is doughy with some fresh cut hay and some citrus peel along with some grassy and honey notes. The flavor is dry with a nice minerally character, the beer is pretty well hopped and has a nice herbal hoppiness. There were some mild metallic flavors but these really weren’t very distracting from all the nice things going on here.
