12 oz. bottle. Pours clear gold with a light, white head. The aroma is crystal malts, hay, saaz hops, and bitter orange peels. The flavor is balanced sweetness and bitterness. The palate is light, crisp, and hard. Overall, this is a refreshing and light beer, with a nicely balanced flavor. PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2012
12 oz. Bottle. Decent Kolsch. Grain, slight fruit scent. Pale yellow gold pour with foamy head to film. Smooth mouthfeel, light body, crisp finish. Grainy fronted taste with a fruit loop like middle and bitter, tangy finish. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - JUN 6, 2012
Bottle 12 oz, Bestway. Pours almost clear golden yellow with a nice white head leaving lacing. Aroma is dry, malty, hoppy soapy and grassy. Flavor is fruity malty and slightly swet in front, more fruits and bitterness which is mellow and pleasant in the middle finishing grassy bitter and sweet malty. Interesting and well brewed. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 6, 2012

Bottle. Fairly clear golden with a small sudsy white head. Nose is light hops, biscuits malts, grapes, light citrus. Flavor is a little bit more sweet and malty, a little heavier than I would like for a kolsch.

Mother Earth has made it to GA. Exited to see this one on the shelf, love the style. Bright golden pour with lively carbonation and a nice quick fading white head. Aroma was bittersweet with notes of orange and grassy hops. Flavors were crisp and dry with bready malt notes throughout. Some spicy Saaz like hops come through in the finish as well. Long lingering finish. Mouthfeel was in the medium range with a perfect carbonation level. On the high side of standard. Big fan of the style and this didn’t disappoint. Nicely done. obguthr (6355) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - APR 28, 2012
Unmalted barley and hay nose, clean and strong. Clear yellow thin head. Flavor is lemony hay, slightly vegetal. Alcohol not noticeable, mouthfeel is a bit fizzy, body is light. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 27, 2012
Originally reviewed: 4/19/10. Had this on tap at the First St. Draught House in town. Came out a crystal clear gold with a thin white head on top. No sticky lace left behind. Scents of corn, butter, lemon zest, and sharp hops.
The body is crisp and bubbly. Refreshing feel. Great lemony flavor right away. Silky buttery feel. Some bready biscuit aftertaste. Definite noble hops present as well. I really like this beer. This style is quickly becoming one of my go-to’s, and this one is a great example. ozark123 (9) - North Carolina, USA - MAR 22, 2012 does not count
This is my first experience with Kolschs and if they are all this good, I have found a worthy alternative to wheat beers as my summertime brew. Slighty sweet aromas, but not too aggressive. Smooth and lush on the palate. Slightly sweet and spicy with nice complexity and balance. Creamy, yet brief finish. musinj6 (506) - Dedham, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 6, 2012
Pours a pale golden clear color with a small head that quickly dissipates. Crisp toasted malt flavor. Minimal hops that are piney. Mildly sweet up front with subtle bitterness. Well balanced. Slight metallic taste. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Good, solid beer.
