3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the bottle - slightly hazy light yellow, 1 cm white head. Head dissipates quickly, light lacing. Aroma has notes of lemon and sweetness. Tastes initially sweet, followed by a mild bitterness. Corn and creamy flavors as well. More hoppy than I expected, but pretty good. This would go nicely with spicy Asian food. Medium-short finish.
Bottle from Whole Foods, Wilmington, North Carolina. Lighter golden appearance. Strong and fruity with a healthy pale ale texture. eRock_2013 (522) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 21, 2017
Wow - this was a delicious Kolsch to stumble across on draft in Asheville, although this brewery is in Kinston, close to my childhood stomping grounds near Goldsboro, SC! This poured an exceptionally textured and foamy golden color, lots of fresh lacing. Aroma is a hint of lemon and grassy hops (but not lemongrass), with some pilsner-ish malt. A little more full-bodied than other thin Kolsches, but still light overall, quite smooth. Slightly fruity, yet also some grassy noble hoppiness, grainy baseline. Overall thoroughly enjoyable and a great example of the style! The whole Blake family enjoyed so much we ordered an extra round for the table! unclemike (3195) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - JUL 21, 2017
Bright and clear, with exceptional, even carbonation -- this looks like one of those old beer signs that had the beer bubbles infinitely rising. Nice creamy consistency and the light grassy notes of a kolsch kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold body with a minimal fizzy white head. The nose is a bit grainy and grassy with some slight honey sweetness, not much in the way of hops. The flavor is rather grainy and soggy tasting with a fairly heavy sweetness on the back end. This isnt a light and quaffable example of the style that Im looking for. It lacks the fruitiness and its mostly lacking in hops. A little heavy and clingy with light carbonation. Meh, pretty poor example of the style. kingaugusta (294) - Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Pours a very clear blonde with a small white head. Nose is a little sugary sweet with some European hops adding floral character. Mouthful is very light but crispy with lots of carbonation and just enough hops to give it a little bite. Great example of the style and a solid hot weather, easy drinking beer.

12oz bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Atlanta during a HSS conference. Pours a bright bubbly gold with a lively head of tight white soapy bubbles. Aroma is crisp and clean. Grassy and grainy. Flavors are sharp and biting bitterness with just a bit of sweet grain character. Nice and super drinkable. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 31, 2016
