COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This DIPA is a bad ass. Straight up. It’s hopiness isn’t just limited to the floral nose or lingering bitterness but a full hop flavor all the way through your palate. We bitter with a Super Alpha, and follow it up with a few flavoring additions throughout the boil. A massive dry hop of Simcoe and Amarillo create a huge aroma profile that really comes through in a big way.

355ml can. Clear orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma: tropical and citrus fruits, grapefruit, resin, malt. Taste: hoppy, citrus, tropical, grapefruit, resin, light sweet caramel, malt, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation, a bit sticky. Pretty good for an 8 month old can, thought hops might have faded but nope.

Strong hoppy grapefruit and lemon citrus aroma with tropical fruit also like pineapple and mango. Bready malts. Hazy golden amber color with small white disappearing head. Citrus hop flavor, grapefruit and lemon, malty alcohol sweetness. Resinous hop. Full bodied, sticky feel, medium co2, lingering bitter hop finish with slight sweetness. Enjoyable hoppy beer. Good one for the hop heads. Not completely over the top. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can at The Leeky Tap, Leek. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden colour with a thin white head. Taste of orange, passionfruit, mango, resin, some grapefruit, a hint of pineapple, slight caramel, bready malts and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A long, dry, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. A lot of hops! Citrus, resin and slight herbal aromas and flavours with a caramel and bready malt sweetness throughout. Very good, up there with BooKoo.

On tap at Mother Earth, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out ample piney hops upfront, some hop resins, and light caramel bready malt. Flavour is bold, with lots of resinous hops, some pine and sticky caramel malt. The balance is a bit rough, with the malt and hops not perfectly melding. But it works well enough. Good.

October 3rd, 2016 - Ensconced up in a corner of Escondido, Mother Earth has joined in the hoppy fanfare with its cousins just a little way to the south, serving up hoppy delights like this one, the Hop Diggity. Soupy and the color of a homemade cider, it looks like the product of agriculture wrung out at harvest season, with a nose full of dry straw, grass, hay and a touch of orange peel. The flavor is more boldly hoppy, but not dank or weedy. The grass notes hit the flavor too, inflating in the mid-flavor with a huge grassy finish, and just a little pineapple for sweetness.

blipp (9278) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 9, 2016
Can. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity citric hop base, mild moderate bitterness, very low sweetness, a bit of pine, and a nice crisp hoppy finish. Not nearly as boozy as many IIPAs.
