Poured from a can. Orange-gold color with an off-white head. Not much lacing. Dank aroma. Very bitter taste which overwhelms the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a hazy orange with almost no head at all. Aroma is some tropical fruit hops with a bitter dankness. Its not jumping out of the glass bit its there. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Light fruit with dank bitterness and a barely there caramel malt. Decent but ultimately kind of a generic IPA.

Can from Boise Co-op. Pour from can starts off rather average, aroma kicks it up a notch with some nice flowery hop notes. Taste elevates the whole with very pungent, flavorful, floral, piney hops, carried on a slick, viscous body. Hoppy and tasty, overall feel is wonderful.

Pours a golden amber color with a cream colored head. Floral hop, pine, caramel, fruit and biscuit aroma and flavors. Medium body and somewhat lively carbonation. Pine, caramel and biscuit finish. Not bad, just a little boring.

12oz can pours a pale brown color with a bit of head. Low carbonation from the can. Fruity dank hop flavors, but a little thin in the maltiness.

20 day old can purchased from The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this has notes of pine and herbs and grapefruit. Light tannic notes, too. Transparent copper-golden body with a medium, whitish head. Fair lacing. Starts with an herbal hop flavor before this becomes mildly sweet with a chewy caramel body in the middle. Finishes with herbs, earth, and onion bitterness. Rather bitter, but not overly so. Balance is good, but I am not a fan of the New Zealand hop flavors.

May 11th, 2014 - Mother Earths Kismet gives off a strange and unearthly vibe when it is purchased from the very unspiritual and spacious confines of a Costco, but even if the branding seems incongruous, the beer itself is aligned with itself, in perfect harmony, but in a very curious and orthogonal realm of scents and flavors. On the nose I catch dandelions and bitter greens, but what I find most vexing is the squeeze of lime. What hops accounts for that? Unsure, I dip into the foam, and through to the clear, amber broth underneath, immediately picking up on a complex array of flavors. Light and citrusy and hoppy at the start, but also sweeter than I am expecting, giving the introduction with the bitter greens. The body is also thinner than I expected, but the carbonation adds the missing buoyancy, further accenting the lemon and lime notes, already somewhat prominent. The aftertaste is neither short nor long, but enough to give a last fading glimpse at a fascinating hop profile.
