4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour from 22 0cz. bomber. Pours a dark copper orange with a two finger off white head which fades to nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus (A lot of orange and some grapefruit), pine, tropical fruits (pineapple and nice mango notes), sweet malts, and some light caramel. Taste is of citrus (a lot of orange), pine resin, sweet bready malts, caramel, and a little booze. Has a medium-full body and a creamy, slightly chewy, semi dry, pretty bitter, but still well balanced finish. Overall, a decent DIPA that is more of a East Coast style then a true west coast style, that could hide its abv a little better.
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours bright copper with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus hoppy and sweet caramel. Med + body. Flavor is very hoppy, citrus and earth mostly, and the malt is clearly present. Finishes not too dry, but with bitterness, a hop burn, and trending my thoughts towards dank. marcus (10156) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours orange amber with a nice beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a full-bodied caramel malt flavor with a very bitter finish that stays on the palate. stevoj (4967) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 4, 2016
Bottle from Winco. Deep, clear copper pour, small head, streaky lacing. Muted aroma, mostly hop. Taste picks up, all of the grains and hop varieties seeking attention. Malts by a nose, but enough hops to finish bitter. Seemingly straightforward, but kind of complex. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 15, 2016
Draft taster at Mother Earth Vista Village. Clear amber color with webby lace. Stickier nose with sweet orange and rye bread. Taste is boozy, biting, heavy rye bread. Finish is sickly and abrasive, sharp and unpleasant.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma with light caramel. Grapefruit and caramel flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light summer fruit lingers with caramel and light pine. IndianaRed (4546) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 2, 2016
On Tap Clear deep copper witha dense light tan head. Rich semi carmel malt aroma. Modest hop flavors and bitterness. esp for a double. But every thing blends well and this is a nice balanced beer.. Not very big or aggressive for a double though. I certainly wouldn’t guess 100 IBUs JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 5, 2016
Mini-growler picked up last night at Pre-Funk Nampa.. Clear light orange.. Hops are in the pine spectrum.. background pithy grapefruit toward the finish.. Lightly sweet pale malt to just barely balance the huge hops... Surprisingly well done.. Stoked to be able to get this fresh in my hood soon. Very stoked. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 21, 2016
22 oz. bottle from Perry’s. It pours a clear deep orange gold color with an off white head. The aroma has some strong orange, pine and grapefruit. Maybe a hint of hop spice and toasted malt. The flavor is piney and resinous with some orange, hop spice and grapefruit pith. Some backing caramel and toasted malt, but the big, fresh, resinous hop character takes control of the beer. Strong piney bitterness helps with a dry finish. Orange and resin. A brutal IIPA that served as a nice substitute for PtY since I didn’t feel like waiting in line at the Alehouse.
