Bottle. Pours mildly hazy copper, full white head. Aroma of floral, citrus, earthy. Mild bitter taste. Medium body, average carbonation, enjoyable medium bitter finish. Overall a good IPA, feels like its missing something though. ross (2146) - weddington, North Carolina, USA - DEC 14, 2011
Bottle. Orange colored, white head. Hops, grass, citrus, in the nose. Taste is bitter, watered down, kind of sweet, and funky. Not really my cup of tea in terms of the IPA’s out there. Not a repeat for me. BiochemProf (179) - Boone, North Carolina, USA - OCT 13, 2011
Clear golden/amber pour with a nice creamy ivory head. Pine and citrus hop aroma (couldn’t detect much malt aroma). Subdued malt flavor followed by a nice hop bitterness. Medium bodied with tingly carbonation. A nice, clean and refreshing IPA. Another well done beer from Sisters of the Moon. Travlr (24784) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Bottle. Hazy golden color, small white head, good lacing. Aroma of sour oranges. Taste is bitter pine and peaches. Interesting. DialSquare (5030) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 8, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2014 12oz bottle courtesy of ryan and rebecca - thanks! Gold pour with big frothy off-white head and some stick. Aroma is grassy pine. Tastes are bread, grass, orange, lemon and a light metallic tang - in a nice way. Lively medium to light palate with tight carbonation. Moderate but long chewy grassy bitter. Pretty darn good.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) medium clearish gold with thick creamy off-white head. Nose of caramel, candied dark fruit, light funk. Taste of alcohol, big biscuit flavors, caramel, yeasty bread. Bitter/herbal linger. pineypower (3327) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Bottle from Chip’s in Kill Devil Hills. Pours out a moderate golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of light citrus hops, moderate sweet malty notes. Taste is much the same, some citrus, light grass, some doughy malts. Average. Not sure about the name either, sort of reminds me of how someone in the 1800’s would refer to women on the same monthly cycle. dmac (6264) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2011
Bottle shared by pineypower at Scott’s poolside Saturday. Poured a golden/orange body with an average foamy off whtie head. Aroma of celery, grains, dust and honey. Medium body, average carbonation, full mouthfeel....actually they hit this on the head pretty much. Flavor of grains, cereal, bitter hops and citrus rind. Yet another average IPA in a world of bitter beers. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - SEP 9, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a thick dense foamy head and some lace. Aroma of flowers, tart citrus zest, some light pepper, and bread. Tastes of caramel, floral hops with pretty strong bitterness, bread, some honey sweetness, grass, toasted malts, and light roastiness. Creamy and smooth with a drying finnish. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 8, 2011
A: The pour is a lightly hazed golden-amber color color with a tall off-white head.
S: Sort of a bland aroma. There is some grass, a light floral note, and minimal citrus peel notes. There is a fair amount of sweet malt and bread to it, and just a very light grapefruit. Strangely, a touch of celery.
T: Light pine is there first with the strange celery flavor following. A bit of citrus peel along with sweet malt and bread. A little bit of additional sweetness in the form of toffee. There is just a mild bitterness.
M: Medium in body body and carbonation.
O: Just a mediocre IPA. Not very good hop character to it.
