Can poured into a weizen glass. Very excellent hefeweizen. It is an awesome light, hazy yellow with a big white head. Wonderful banana/clove flavor. Medium carbonation. Overall a very excellent beer. One of my favorite domestice Hefe’s jsmerig (1590) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Pours a hazy yellow with slight white head. Aroma of bananas. Taste is sweet with a slight tart offset in the finish and an earthy aftertaste. Crisp and clean.

Great hefe. I’m not sure why hefe’s don’t do better on here. I guess I’d a beer doesn’t beat the shit out of you it isn’t very good. Anyhoo.....hazy bronze color. Nice banana notes in the nose. The flavor is effervescent and marshmallow-y. Great for summer.....especially Ina a can. ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2012

Appearance: Served up a pale golden body, quite hazed, with a smallish, white, though never-ending head. After knocking out a few handwritten notes, then, firing up the laptop and connecting to the pesky WiFi here, it is still there, the head. After a round of asinine texts from my ex-fiancee, it’s still there, still going strong (presumably all day long).
Smell: No-doubt-about-it malted wheat, with supporting, expected notes of bananas, cloves, and lemon chiffon pie filling.
Taste: Staunchly wheaty, with a big kick of twangy wheat and sweetness akin to whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar. Banana puree cut with whole milk and spiced lightly with a bit of ground clove. Touch of lemon akin to a taste of Lemonheads before you hit the sour core. Light hop character, lightly bitter. The cream and 10x powdered sugar come back before the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Creamyish mouthfeel throughout.
Overall: Seriously, like a hour later, the head has not diminished in size. Large on the wheat character, but a very promising hefe.
Strong aroma is wheaty and yeasty with a firm undertone of pear. It pours a somewhat hazy solar yellow with a decent, if not too persistent, fluffy white head. Mouth-filling flavor has firm wheat, yeast and pear tones and just a hint of mandarin orange - or is that tangerine? Firm-bodied texture has plenty of fizz and leaves a tingly, wheaty, fruity finish. If you could can sunshine, it would probably taste a lot like this beer.

12 oz. can from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Expected aroma of bubblegum and lemon peel. The citrus takes a backseat to the wheat in the flavor with heavier notes of banana and bubblegum. Light and refreshing. It’s a hefeweizen so there’s nothing that will blow your mind here, but it’s a very well done hefe. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 23, 2012
12 ounce can from Whole Foods Market Raleigh. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium sized frothy head that fades quickly. Aroma of big yeast and citrus notes with some breadiness and spice. The taste is pineapple, citrus, bread, yeast, spice and a bit of caramel. Medium bodied. Nice hefe.

On draught at the Hickory Hops Brew Festival. Pours pale golden, hazy, with a nice head that leaves fluffy lacing. Huge banana notes to the nose. Lots of yeasty esters, bold banana and wheat flavors. Subtle carbonation provides a soft mouthfeel, which on the palate goes down great and refreshing for a hot day. Pretty great hefe. GTAEgeek (2218) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2012
12 oz. can. Pours a light, hazy gold with a big, fluffy, white head and good lacing. The aroma is bread dough, bananas, cloves, and honey. The flavor is a mellow, balanced blend of bready sweetness, orange peel bitterness, and a little spice. The palate is light, creamy, and a little flat. Overall, this is a great tasting, well balanced beer, but the mouthfeel is a little lacking.
