Gold and spicy. A bit too much spice in my opinion and the aftertaste had a bit of funk. Orange zestiness was a plus. Picked up in Asheville in 2015. ordybill (1799) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 23, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a wheat and yeast aroma with a slight floral add on.
Appearance- This is a golden yellow colored beer with a small white head.
Taste- Has a nice flavor of wheat and yeast with maybe a hint of banana.
Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation with a slightly thick/oily texture.
Overall- A really good witbier, I will drink this againl rdixon77 (2868) - Georgia, USA - MAR 29, 2015
Old rating. Cloudy gold pour. Lemon, coriander, wheat body. Yeast is present but not too overwhelming. Well balanced and light. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2015
12oz bottle, purchased on 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Bottled 10/13/14. Clear golden color. Good thin white head. Decent ridge of lace. Up front, very bready tasting, tastes very much like a very clean lager.. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was expecting for the style. Good coriander and zest comes forward next. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, kind of crisp lighter to moderate carbonation. Light slick texture. Moderate sweet taste, good mild zest. Light spiciness. Pretty tasty, balanced belgian wheat ale. Nice to enjoy with my sandwich. Augdraught1981 (266) - Harlem, Georgia, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Very aggressive soda like carbonation on the pour but a disappointing lack of foam. Typical aromas & cloudy pale yellow color for the style. Very very sweet, almost artificially so. A lot of bubblegum, the usual clove & coriander spiciness & maybe some tropical fruit? Overall smooth, fruity & sweet.
