COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say its like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Citrus nose with banana notes. Med body with fruit esters, wheat and a light citrus bitterness. Average finish with yeast esters lingering.

At the brewery. Not the biggest fan of the style, but this was a nice refreshing cloudy Wit.

Very cloudy yellow with thin white lacing. Smells like tomato and corriander. More of the same on the palate, which is light and refreshing with a hint of citrus on the back palate. Tasty.

Draught. Pretty good for an American wit. Bright clear gold/yellow. Aroma of orange, a little coriander and grain. Moderately Sweet orange and coriander taste with a little pithy bitterness. Very refreshing mouthfeel. Quite enjoyable.

Originally reviewed: 6/17/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear pale gold with a thin white head on top. No retention; no lace. Scents of salt water taffy, bubblegum, orange zest, and light grains. The mouth is crisp and effervescent. Very good flavors of lemon, tart yeast, white bread, with a semi-sweet finish. Admittedly, this is not one of my favorite styles, but I am enjoying it more and more. This one is a good representation, IMO. Tart and refreshing. Recommend.

Draft. Super hazy rainbow yellow. White head if it really had a head. A true wit taste. Not my favorite but it's a beer. Worthy of a try after drinking all night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grass, lemongrass, and coriander nose, very green. Hazy yellow, medium head with little retention. Malty, grassy, coriander, lemongrass flavor. Medium body, alcohol not noticed. Crisp clean finish. Full of flavor and complexity, but sessionable as a good wit should be. Quite nicely hopped without being what one might call a white IPA. Great job!

So clean and fresh. The spice notes on the tongue and roof of my mouth were enjoyable. For a Wit, this is definitely worth drinking.

Bottle. Pour easily into a clear, pale yellow stillness, with what little head appeared giving up nearly right away. Crystal clear, not hazy as youd expect. This drinks like everymans beer, with just the slightest hint of the orange and coriander, barely enough to make you think it might be a wit. No imperfections here, just unexciting.
