It pours a cloudy pale yellow. The aromas feature a lot of spices, some coriander, pepper, wheat, lemon, and a hint of clove. There flavors feature the wheat and spices with lemon. Straw gold and cloudy with a white rim and coating. Aroma not great - funk/yeast. Taste is quite sweet and thin. Some spices, yeast and bread flavors. Easy drinking but disappointingly spare.

Bright yellow appearance with a small, white head and little lacing. Grains and spice, including pepper, bleed into the yeast and produce an aroma similar to a farmhouse style ale. Wheat, yeast and spices prevail in the flavor while a modest hop demeanor is buried in the background. Crisp, tangy aftertaste. Medium-to-light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel leading to an average length finish.

Bottled on May 27, 2016. Dark hazy golden. Densely packed collar of foam surrounds a broken center. Unrefined aroma of lemongrass, orange peel, paintlike yeast, egglike sulfur, husky malt, dirty dish rag, and a hint of cookie. Softly carbonated. Malt is heavily starchy and consequently contributes to a notably weighty body. Herbal and floral hop medley is pummeled by the wet and husky malt, as hints of plastic and coarse sulfur add to the sloppy mixture of flavors. Coriander comes off as soapy. Gluey yeast films the palate and exacerbates the excessively starchy malt, which leans towards dog food. No vividness or refinement to the grain, just by-the-numbers and strikingly muddled. Weeping Willow Wit has a medium, white head a cloudy (after the swish & pour), yellow gold appearance, lots of fierce bubble streams, and a little bit of splotchy lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of very muted white bread, spices, and citrus, and the flavor is of white pepper, coriander, lemon, and sweet white bread. High hopes for this bottle, sounds yummy from the label. Smell is mildly yeasty. Very nice witbier presentation for the eye. Virtually room temperature, but even from the taste-start I feel like this is going to be civilized and refined. Pleasant and fun with just a tiny hint of banana. I’m liking this session. Hides alky well. Some ever so mild banana perfume on the nose now. Right up there with shiner white wing and anky’s white out. Not bad! Would like another. Good, but not as good as
