Corked and caged from JCB - thanks! Slightly murky orange-amber color with frothy white head. Aroma is fairly sweet and mildly skunky with sticky peach candy, chardonnay, faint vanilla, and some alcohol. Flavor is slightly bitter peach skins, tart chardonnay, light vanilla cream, and wet wheat malt. Some plastic and butter notes. Somewhat of a slick oily mouthfeel with prickly carbonation. Mild to moderate dry finish with lingering wine, buttery oak, and some alcohol warmth. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - FEB 3, 2013
750ml from Sam’s, Durham. Cloudy, murky orange pour like homebrew halfway to mead. Modest head and visible stickiness. Nose was ripe and sweet in equal measure, backed up by very understated barrel notes. Taste was too malty and heavy for me, as I was definitely hoping for something more like a dry golden strong, with peach skins and chardonnay notes. Okay but not great. Not as peachy as I was expecting. The winey, oaky characteristics actually take front and center, and the peach is more in the background. It gets a little more prominent as it warms. More subtle than I thought it would be. Cybercat (6146) - Georgia, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Comes out of the bottle a clear, almost peach amber with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Malty aroma has a strong overtone of peach brandy. Flavor has a malty core and a firm peach note, as well as oak and subtle wine tones - doubtless from the barrel aging - for a well-rounded and enjoyable taste. Subtle fruity sweetness nicely balances the sharp alcohol nip and the hoppy hint. Smooth, lively texture leaves an interesting wood and fruity finish. I hope that I get the opportunity to harvest the others in this series. Sikash (274) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Poured from tap. Pours a nice hazy copper color. A light oak and peach aroma with an undertone of wheat. Flavor is Italy tastes of oaked wine but is fruity and finishes with a clean bitterness with notes of peaches and wheat. Mouthfeel is full and carbonation is average overall a delicious beer.

Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured clear peach amber color with moderate frothy off-white color head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good tart peach and yeast aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Average peach sweet flavor with a average sweet fruit finish of moderate duration. Interesting refreshing beer.

Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Nose is sweet peach with a light tartness of lemon zest. Some bread, white wine, a bit of water, grass, and yeast. Flavor is a little bit on the watery side, but does have some very nice peach character. Lightly tart, some lemon zest, grass, and bread sweetness. A hint of sugar, white wine, and a slight sawdust note in the background. Pretty decent overall. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 6, 2013
2012 vintage 750ml bottle, shared by b3shine. Mostly clear orange / peach color. Thin white head. Maybe a couple dots of lace. Sort of an oaky chardonnay nose, some peach skin. Nice fruity flavor. Light tangy sweetness, some alcohol, no bite, no cloy. Bigger body, smooth light carbonation, good longer peachy aftertaste. Nice, interesting fruit beer. b3shine (9145) - Indiana, USA - JAN 1, 2013
750 ml bottle to snifter. Looks good; a hazy orange with thin white lacing. Smells solid; white wine and peaches. Tastes decent, but not as good as it smells. Average on the palate. Decent, but not as good as I thought it would be when I first saw and smelled it. mikem409 (2029) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - JAN 1, 2013
