UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 On tap at NoDa Brewing.
Pours is hazy red-amber with a creamy and durable tan head that leaves fine lacing patterns.
Smell is unusual mix of a pleasing floral/fruity component with a bit of yeasty, vinegary funk (mainly vinegar). The taste follows but seems more integrated and more floral. It also has a hint of vanilla. Slightly challenging for me, but less so than most saisons.
M: nicely smooth with a medium-full body and pleasing if rather lively carbonation. Slightly astringent.
O: good for style (saison); well-proportioned addition of apricot. I hate vinegar, so the hint of it in this brew really lowered my enjoyment.

Tap. Deep amber with one finger head. Mild gingery flavor - I guess that’s the cardamom. Slightly tart. Interesting and good.
