COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Roadside American Ale was our answer to the arms race on hoppy beers. We crafted our pale ale to be extremely hoppy in flavor and aroma, but not bitter. Enjoy this showcase of American hops that share a medium body and excellent malt balance. We kept the alcohol at a sessionable level so you can enjoy a pint or two.

Roadside was the Gold Medal winner at the US Open Beer Championship in American Pale Ales for 2012.

Perfect sessionable pale to go with dinner. Clear amber color, a hint of caramel with a balanced citrus hop on the nose. Nice clean beer.

A simple amber like beer at first. This has enough hops to not taste overly malty nor does it feel too light or heavy but just rightl. 2 for 2 with Mother Road! The guy at the hotel I think sent us to the wrong brewery in Flagstaff. Good stuff.

Btl pours clear light amber honey color. Fluffy head that clears fast. Slight lace on glass. Smells of popcorn balls, sweet malt ,molasses and evergreen sap. Slight floral hop aroma. Sweet creamy biscuit malt taste followed by spiciness and citrus hops. Medium body with adequate carbonation. Very balanced beer that has a nice hop bitterness. Great american ale that is easy drinking. Thx Jerry. Here it is!

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color, just barely darker than the kolsch, with a small white head that laces the glass. Aroma of tangerine, lemon-lime, grass, fresh tea, herbs, floral notes, and pale malts. Really complex, interesting hop profile. Flavor of tangerine, lime, floral notes, pine resin, pale malts. More bitter and not as fruity as the nose. Light-bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a crisp, sharp mouthfeel. Very solid, unique APA.

Bottle from McCain04. Pours amber orange with white head. Nose and taste of citrus peel, malt, citrus, nectarine peel, lime zest, resin and earthy malt. Medium body. Finishes tangerine/nectarine peel and lime zest. Slight resin.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma is kind of malty sweet, perfume counter fragrance and then vague citrus hoppiness. The taste has malt sweetness running headlong into a mix of bitter floral hops and lime like citrus hops. The hops get to a pleasing level of resiny bitterness and getting perfumy into the after taste. Decent enough, I’d drink it again thanks to the balance and hoppiness it has attained.

Bottle thanks to Josh! Pours a golden amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of sweet fruits and sweet citrus with a bit of light grains underlying. Flavor has similar notes with a touch of citrus but mainly sweet fruits and light sweet grains.

Bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of biscuit, lemon zest and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of biscuit, lemon zest and a hint of earthiness with a crisp lingering lemon zest finish.

draft pour in flagstaff...pours a light orangey brown...minimal head. aroma is light, but pleasant...some yeasty notes, lightly hopped...nice. flavor is good as well...generally mild, this beer is mildly hopped for the style, which is actually a good thing in my mind....sort of a cross between an amber and an APA. palate medium bodied....good aftertaste. would enjoy one of these again.
