Bottle in MV. Pours unclear burnished orange with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma holds ripened citrus fruits, lightly toasted crackers, some toffee. Medium sweet flavour with lots of jammy citrus, some marmalade, rich bready malts, more toffee, some brown sugar, mild bitter and oily pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with light resinous pine, a little boozy warmth, toasted crackers. Perhaps a little aged? This one, as it is, leans towards barley wine territory. But it drinks pretty good.

335 ml bottle. Standard double ipa, citrus and pine, nothing too fantastic though.

12 oz bottle. (Macadoodles) Branson, MO.
Hazy orange amber colour with a tiny white head. Sweet hops, moderate bitterness and fresh pine in the aroma. The flavour is sweet caramel, strong bitterness and piny hops. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Good!

Bottle @ home, sent by jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a touch hazy, dark golden orange appearance with a nice, cream colored head. Somewhat fragrant floral, light citrusy hoppy, light potpourri, light caramel nose. Somewhat bitter, potpourri, slightly chewy, orange zesty flavor. Bleh.

phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 2, 2013
12 oz. bottle via in-person STL trade. Pours a clear orange with a small off-white head that leaves a good amount of lace streaks and spots. Aroma of toasted malts and sugars, grassy hops, and a bit of florals, perfume, and citrus- but just a little. Flavor of citrusy and floral hops, caramel and toasted malts, brown sugar, and resin. Medium-bodied, with a resinous, sweet mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Didn’t do much for me at first but revealed more charms as it went along.

Pine and lots of orange zest. Orange pour with good head and carpet lacing. Bitter finish with a hint of tang. Lots of citrus in finish. Tap at Springfield airport.

Sampledvat an esbls tasting. Almost clear and coppery with a soapy off white head. A dry hop aroma. The flavor is citrus fruit with lighter malt. This is dry and slightly tart. Tasty.

Braudog (6804) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 12, 2016
Bottle. Standard visuals, amber and capped in white foam. Frothy and firm, with normal American pale ale characteristics -- moderately hoppy with a middle of the road flourish, solid base, clean balance. Good sipper, but doesn’t stand out in a crowded field. (#6210, 6/12/2016)
