3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass.
A - A crystal clear amber body with a moundy off-white head. Average retention with very little lacing.
S - Sweet Mandarin orange, bready malt, hints of green grass.
T - Nice caramel/toffee malt, slightly roasted, doughy bread, sweet tangerines, very light green pine in the background. The pine picks up and starts building bitterness around the edges of the tongue finishing bitter with a kiss of citrus and honey sweetness.
M - Very smooth and creamy feel, medium soft carbonation, crisp finish.
Not super complex but this is one of the smoothest drinking IPA’s I’ve had. It was hard to drink it slow. Good all around. I would definitely drink this again.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance was hazy with fine particulates, golden-orange color, mild sparkle, good white head, no lacing. Aroma was resinous, grapefruit, citrus. Taste as aroma. Palate was light-to-medium bodied with thick, creamy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and mostly bitter finish. Overall, toward the bitter side but not unpleasantly so. If a midwest IPA is supposed to be half-way between a bitter West Coast IPA and a fruity, flavorful East Coast IPA, then it hits the mark. Cavie (4718) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Tap at the pub. Brilliantly clear light orange color, frothy white head. Fairly hoppy aroma. Some citrus notes, floral, grassy. Light grain backbone. Flavor is dried leaves, floral hops, some citrus sweetness with a mild bitter finish. Not bad.

Aroma vanilla cream and raisins. Taste is reminiscent of Dogfish Head's 90 Minute with less of a spice and more of a light creaminess. Solid beer.

Pine and lots of orange zest. Orange pour with good head and carpet lacing. Bitter finish with a hint of tang. Lots of citrus in finish. Tap at Springfield airport. TheBeerGod (6224) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Bottle courtesy of Braudog. Thanks Matt! Amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is fruity with a big malt backbone and chewy caramel. Taste is also chewy caramel, toasted malt, citrus and light floral notes.Body is medium with a dense, creamy carbonation. Light stickiness to this as well. Ends with more citrus fruit, floral hops, chewy caramel and toasted malt.

Bottle. Standard visuals, amber and capped in white foam. Frothy and firm, with normal American pale ale characteristics -- moderately hoppy with a middle of the road flourish, solid base, clean balance. Good sipper, but doesn’t stand out in a crowded field. (#6210, 6/12/2016) vyvvy (6486) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 22, 2016
It pours deep orange with an off white head. The aroma has floral hops, mushy malt and light fruit. It has a medium body with soft carbonation. The taste is pretty balanced with soft caramel malt, floral and woody hops and mild sweetness. Decent. hoptimusPrimed (155) - SPAIN - MAR 18, 2016

Very enjoyable ipa with nice hops and a fresh flavor. Some malt backbone helps. AnokaBrewer (207) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Great hop aroma. Nice foamy white head. Not a lot of carbonation. Pours a golden yellow, but cloudy from the sediment on the bottom. Bitter taste with a bitter finish that lingers.
