The perfect brew. Beer doesn’t get any better than this. Nice cocoa, raisins, chocolate, dark cherry, plum, vanilla. Smooth, delicious and very drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of RobertDale, thank you! Motor oil black color, small brown head. Aroma has toasted coconut, vanilla, stewed prunes, burnt espresso. Taste is rich dark chocolate and coffee, edge of whiskey. Delicious. Extra appearance point for getting the name past the TTB.

Bottle at my USA Going Away Party. Thanks Greg! This is just about as decadent as it gets -- it’s sweet and chocolatey to the point of tasting like hot chocolate (or chocolate milk). Strong wood and booze aroma, too, from the barrel aging. It’s a celebration of decadence, and I enjoyed every sip.

Backlogi z kilku ostatnich tygodni - ciąg dalszy. Piękny, bardzo intensywnie beczkowy aromat. Silne nuty sherry, wanilii, czekolady. Gładkie, gęste, czekolada, wanilia, sherry, słodycz. Mega

Tap at the pub. Dark brown to black color, nearly opaque. Dark brown highlights. Tan head, frothy. Aroma is dark fruit, plum, vanilla, oak, port, sweet chocolate. Full bodied. Big dark fruit flavor with loads of sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, wood, light port notes. Welcoming warmth apparent, edging on hot. Woody finish. Wow! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

MILF has a very thin, tan head, an extremely dark brown appearance, with tiny bubbles streams, visible at the top sides of the snifter glass, with lighter brown at the top and bottom, as the sun shines through it. Aroma is of sharp, bourbon barrel, cocoa, and dark bread. Taste is of rich, chocolate, brown bread, raisin, and chocolate mousse. Mouthfeel is high medium, and MILF finishes medium dry. RJT

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2017 12 oz bottle. Pours black with a one finger cola head. Aroma is barrel, vanilla, cherries, and dark fruits. Taste is predominantly dark fruits with vanilla and a slight roastiness on the back of the palette. After taste is strong chocolate, especially after it warms up. Mouthfeel was smooth, but the medium-thin body needs more viscosity. Overall, an excellent blended multi-barrel stout. My only critique is how thin the body was. If they increased viscosity, this would be world class.

12 oz. Bottle in a trade with Matt B. Pitch black color, thin lasting tan head Aroma is milk chocolate, coffee, subtle vanilla hints, mild bourbon.

The flavor has a nice barrel character throughout the sip. Good roasted backbone. Flavor is deep, dark fruits, chocolate, Bourbon, sherry, vanilla, and ending on oak. Creamy texture and fuller velvet body. Sometimes I am still surprised. This stout was a VERY nice surprise. Finely crafted.

0.355l bottle from trade with ig88b. Thanks man! Looks really nice in the glass this, almost like pouring dark motor oil in the glass (not that I’ve actually ever done that before). It’s really deep dark, almost black in color and it has a nice little loud head. Loud, by what can only be described as fizzing. Dark beige or brown in color. Smells really nice. Rich dark chocolate, a nice but sharp alco sting, tones of burnt sugar and a really rich dark roastiness. Traces of cold coffee, coffee latte actually! Added cream. That’s what it is.. It actually a bit thin and boozy in the taste above average on the carbonation. Tastes sharp and a tad unbalanced. Almost a little phenolic in a way. Lots of nice chocolate though, and it’s definitely barrelled! Rum and smoke are definitely prominent. The rich and bitter sweet kind of chocolate. Cocoa with hints of licorice in the finish. The sweet kind. It really grew on me this down the glass this. Even though it smoothen itself after gaining some temp I still wish the mouthfeel had been a tad more pleasant. 17.10.2014
