Pours a clear golden brown from the bottle with big fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly to leave good lace. Aroma of mild caramel malt and clean lager yeast. Taste follows with a hint of earthy hop in the middle and a sweet finish. Soft carbonation, meh.

Light caramel and good malt. Orange pour with decent head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at Springfield airport.

On draft at Shakespeare in CoMo. Golden orange with just a little foam. A classic version of an American Oktoberfest and a nice one. Light fruit and spices work well. Enjoyable.

Pours a nice goldn copper color. Pretty aggressive pour and not much head. I’ll call it khaki. Pretty nice lacing on the glass.

Aroma, eh? Not really much there. Smelling real hard, I can smell some roasted malts. But that’s really about all. On, I finally caught a whiff of something else. It’s earthy and either grass or pine.

Taste is pretty good. It’s malty, but not overly sweet. Not bitter at all. It’s perhaps a tad sour on the very end. I think they nailed the taste.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. It is so super smooth. Quite crisp. Again a tax sour right at the end, but clean after that.

Overall, I don’t especially like the whole experience. However, Taste wise this is great. I like this, and would drink it again. True to style, but thinking outside the bottle.

Bottle. Poured a dark copper color with a khaki colored head. Aroma was as expected; caramel, earth, nuts, and toffee. Nice robust flavor; full bodied; earthy and nutty, bittersweet with caramel and toffee notes

Appearance is murky, muddy brown with large bubble foam cap that dissipated quickly. Aroma is rich caramel and toffee with no noticeable hop character. Taste is a one dimensional deep, rich caramel malt, with enough earthy hop bitterness to balance. Not any bready or toast character foun in other German Oktoberfest versions. Mouthfeel is medium with a low to moderate carbonation. Finishes with very little lingering malt taste. Balanced but missing something.

Nice enough, but nothing special on tap at stroud's. Malty, bready, and slightly sweet... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a golden copper with a small white head with great lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt and light floral hops. Taste is malty and toasty with caramel, some light graininess and a bit of floral hops and bitterness. Medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. Solid and clean oktoberfest beer.
