From growler fill. Pours very pale gold with a nice 1.5" white head. Nose is citrus, lemon, grain. Light bodied, a touch sour. Low-ish carbonation. Lots of lemon, especially as it warms. Minimal hop flavor or pine, but lots of citrus hop notes. First I’ve had of this style. Pretty tasty. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - AUG 17, 2014
The appearance is a very cloudy yellow with a large white head that fades slowly. The aroma blends citrus hops and wheat, and the taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet with a grainy flavor being somewhat present. The palate fuses a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and a slightly sour finish. jandd1983 (4276) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - NOV 3, 2012
It poured a cloudy orange color with a fluffy white head. The aroma was of bready malt and some hay. The taste was bready and malty, pretty crisp malt flavors. The grain was lingering on the finish. It had medium body, good carbonation. A very solid Kellerbier. kdm1984 (814) - Missouri, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Another new beer by Mother’s in Springfield. Nice combination of sweet lemon with smooth lager yeast. Bready, grainy, slight hops.
