COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After falling in love with Doozy, we decided to crank things up a bit. We added a hefty dose of Citra hops and extended the dry-hopping stage to let the beer pick up every fruity hop flavor note as possible. We aged the brew with fresh French oak, resulting in Super Doozy! It’s a whole new adventure, starting with a huge hop nose & big citrus flavor that’s mellowed by a soft, sweet oak character for a clean, dry finish.

Poured in a tulip from draft. Thick white head that stays laced to the glass. Slightly leans towards orange in color. Slight citrusy aroma. Balanced on the tongue with a little extra sweetness. Bitterness hangs on just right. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at Strong Ale Festival 2014. Comes a clear darker gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is citrus, tropical, pine, malt, and a touch of oak. Nice.

Bottle. Crystal clear orange, large puffy off-white head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is a bit perfume, citrus, pine, some dankness. Flavor is subdued, citrus and pine, aged hops, caramel, medium sweet and light plus bitter. A bit boozy. Lightish body, hot and a bit harsh on the finish. Interesting take.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours golden/amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and lightly fruity hops, some pale and caramel malts, maybe? some hints of oak, and light dough. Flavor the same with the oak not really present and the hops not as strong as on the aroma. Average to smoother texture. An interesting beer, but could be done a little better, and a little too sweet for my preference.

22 oz. bottle from foppa78- thanks again, Mat! Pours a clear gold on the deeper side of the spectrum with a finger of off-white head that settles into a thickish film and totally laces the glass, all the way down. Aroma of caramel, oak, sweet citrus, pineapple, mango, pine, vanilla, and sweet cereal. Flavor of caramel, pine resin, tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, papaya), oak, tea, and vanilla. Medium-full bodied, with a sweet, malty, resinous mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Coats the palate. Very sweet.

Clear dark gold color with a thick foamy white head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit, malt and subtle oak. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle - big foamy head, clear light gold color, big citrus and pine aroma and flavor, mildly sweet malt backbone, not picking up much of the oak aging at all to be honest, maybe it will come through more as it warms up a little - still a very good beer overall though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus hops with lots of woodsy notes. The taste was a nice kick of hops with some woodsy malts. This beer is delicious. Great job!

The beer pours a hazy golden color with a minimal white head that is just some bubbles and a ring on top of the liquid. The aroma blends lots of diacetyl, resin and floral hops, citrus (more orange than lemon), and a hint of oak; the taste is mildly bitter, mildly sweet, and a touch sour, and the mouthfeel fuses a medium body, oily texture, soft (if not nearly flat) carbonation, and a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle from Springfield friend. Pours a beautiful clear golden, like filtered wildflower honey. Nose is complicated and great. Grapefruit and floral hops, some rosemary, elderflower. Sweet honey, caramel, vanilla. Segues rapidly to the strongly biting, bitter hops notes. Creamy, very slightly chalky mouthfeel. I would like to drink this...lots.
