Three Blind Mice has a thick, mousey, ivory head, a semi-clear, copper appearance, lots of big and small suspended sediment, some lazy ascending bubbles, and fairly heavy glass lacing. The aroma is of slightly sour brown bread crust and some light caramel. Taste is the same, with a bit of char and a touch of bitterness. Everything, here, is mainly a muted affair. Tap at the pub. Clear reddish brown color. Beige bubbly head. Nutty aroma. Malty sweet, dried leaves, bit of toast. Flavor is toasted malt, nutty, dried leaves, light malty sweetness. Malt forward balance. Finishes lightly bitter. Clean.

Pours a deep brown from the bottle with big fluffy tan head that dissipates slowly to leave good lacing. Aroma of mild roast, a hint of nut and chocolate. Taste follows with an earthy middle and a touch of sweetness. Pretty solid brown. Airlifter (134) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - NOV 8, 2016
12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish-brown with a lot of off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is malty with some yeast. No bitterness. Great roasted malt flavor, with hints of dark chocolate and slight hoppiness at the finish. Some lingering smoke. Light mouthfeel and a moderate amount of carbonation. Tasted on tap at the 2016 Tanglefoot Fest, it poured a brown colour with weak off-white foam. Malty and a little toasty, caramelly, not much else. Vague hoppy balance, nothing special in this nor the yeast department. Definitely drinkable, not deeply flawed per se, but lacks the body, fruitiness, complexity of a good brown ale. Forgettable.

The aroma offers up a bit of nuttiness and then a mineral sensation heading quickly into sweet malts and a dash of chocolate malts. The taste quickly attains a pleasing roastiness with dark roasted malts, roasty earthy tobacco like malts and then a thin burnt malt note. Pours brown with a good sized beige soapy head. The aroma has toasty malt, bread, mild spice and dry toffee. It has a medium crisp body with a lot of carbonation, but not intrusively so. The taste starts with dry toasty malt, some metallic notes, minerals and mild hops. The finish has more earthy hops and more mineral heavy.
