12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark orange with a decent biege head. Aroma of citrus, florals, and caramel. Taste is lemons, grapefruit, florals, and caramel malt. Interesting balance. Bitter finish. Nice. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Smells kind of old- bready, herbal hoppy, citrusy aroma. Quite strong, juicy orange citrusy, sugary, very rich malty flavor with booze on the finish. Not sure if this is just old but it tastes just overdone. 12oz. bottle. Strongly citric, fruity aroma, very lightly malty and sweet as well with notes of brown sugar, pine and grapefruit, with a faint melon and toasted grain.character in the background. Light-medium golden amber in color, a bit hazy as it is bottle conditioned, head is fine and lasting, some nice lacing here, also. Flavor profile is plenty hoppy, with huge fruity, floral hops, lemon and grapefruit citrus and a faintly malty undertone showing itself late, sweet and massively bitter at the close as well. Certainly delivers in its promise of high hopping levels. Effervescent and resinous on the palate, quite full-bodied. Pretty drinkable for all that, and the alcohol content is hidden nicely. Amber in color clear with a thin head. Nice IPA aroma and flavor. This was a nice rendition of a IIpa. colinize (316) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Great floral hop nose. Pours medium gold. Bitter and tasty. Served at GABF 2012.

Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Opaque amber clay color. One and a half fingers of frothy/creamy beige head. Retention is perhaps a touch below average for the style, but a good sized ring of lacing is left.
3.5 S: Peach, pineapple, and papaya fruitiness. Balancing maltiness featuring caramel and a faint doughiness. Also hints of tomatoe paste, which I’m not a huge fan of. Still, pretty decent.
3.5 T: Tastes like it smells. Fruits mentioned above, caramel maltiness, moderate neutral maltiness, a touch of dough, and some tomatoe paste.
4.0 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Good creaminess to this and super smooth.
3.5 D: It has some flaws, but it’s still a pretty good beer. The booze is very well hidden.

Decent. The nose is light citrus and resin hops with only a touch of malt. The beer is hazy orange with a yellowish foam head. Bitter with some malt balance without a lot of malt flavor. Warm with a long bitter finish. heartinga (8) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - SEP 27, 2012 does not count
SOOOOOOO good! I wish this had a better availability so it could be my go to beer! I got it in a build your own at the brewery in Springfield MO. BUT they also had it at Metcalf Liquor in 4 packs. $11 though....hope to find it on tap. jkbachman (181) - - SEP 24, 2012
This is one heck of a double IPA. There is a subtle hop character on the nose, but a great malt character as well. The malty sweetness combines well with the hop spice and pine/floral notes.
