COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilsner and wheat malt lends a light gold color and subtle flavor to this Kolsch style beer. A medium bitterness and dry finish makes this our most refreshing beer we offer. In this interpretation of the style we used a lager yeast at higher temperatures to get a soft fruity sweetness evident in most traditional Kolsch beers. Crisp and clean with all German hops, medium-light body.

On tap at Millers Alehouse poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread and spucy hops. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw and spicy hops with a crisp dry finish.

Enjoyed a flight of this beer at the brewpub. The beer had a clear gold color with a light white head with modest retention, cling, and lacing. Its aroma featured a blend of grainy, earthy, and straw notes, with only light traces of malt and some yeast. It was a modestly grainy beer with slight bitterness and a light touch of sweet malt character. The beer had a wet mouthfeel with low-to-average carbonation and a smooth effect.

Draft... Pours clear and lightly golden with a small, white head. The nose features peppery hops and spicy grains. Medium-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is much like a pilsner, but with a touch more fruitiness. Has the same medium-bitter bite that far too few of today’s American-brewed pilseners offer. Finishes crisp and clean with a snappy, hop-driven aftertaste. Not one of my favorite styles, but very well done.

On draft at Motorworks. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Nose is some grain, some light floral hops, and some mild bitterness. Flavor is similar with grain, floral, grass, and mildly bitter hops. Light in body, nice crisp flavor, and pretty nice overall.

Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 24, 2015
Draft at Cock & Bull in Sarasota, Florida. Medium gold hue, tart bittersweet aroma, initial watery mouthfeel gives way to very assertive bittersweet. Not your typical light tasting kolsch. Very good for style.

Pours a slightly hazy light yellow with white head. Melon and cereal grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Interesting, yet refreshing.

Pours a nice golden color with white head. Cereal grain on the nose, with just a little floral hop note; follows onto the palate. Finishes very clean.

Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer but good for style.

Stange pour at the brewery. Crisp straw golden with proper white head. Nose is corn sweetness and malt, citrus notes of hop but not bitter. Light easy drinking, mild flavor of citrus notes, noble hop like, and malt. Clean finish. Nothing outta this world
