Draft - nose is butter, grass and caramel. Sip adds bread. Complex for the style and hoppy too. JStax (7390) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 18, 2017
12 ounce can poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a dark amber color with a beige head of velvety foam. The aroma is toasted bread, flour, and an herbal, nearly earthy hop profile. Taste is sweet and doughy. Some caramel maltiness comes through in the taste. Medium body, higher carbonation. Dries out nicely to an earthy bite in the finish. Far exceeded my expectations. Diacetyl aroma. Clear bronze, thin almond head. Sweet, diacetyl, toasted, medium-light bittering. Citrusy, toffee finish. SGI Brewfest 2017 jcwattsrugger (12579) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2017
On tap-thin tan head with trailing lace-amber. A-malty-some caramel, some citrus/some earthy. T-follows. nearbeer (5708) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 19, 2016
12 oz canned 12 Aug 2016. Amber-red pour is clear and has a creamy disc of foam. Aroma of toffee, toasted grain and a hint of spicy apple. Tastes of toffee, mild citrus, apple and earthy bread. Starts sweet but has a slightly crisp, earthy finish. Near-medium bodied and delicately balanced with a pleasant, low-medium fizz. Very nice example of the style

Fort Myers, Fl - Total Wine - 12 oz can. Dark copper pour, thick, sticky off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma has some fresh lake water accents, a hint of wort. Flavor is sweet with some caramel notes, some molasses, a brief wisp of chocolate. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. hopscotch (11485) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2017 Draft... Pours clear and beautifully copper with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma features toasty and crunchy malts accompanied by lightly floral and citrusy notes. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced, offering equal measures of medium-roast malts and bright, crisp hops. Bitter, lightly carbonic finish. I would prefer more toasted-maltiness and less hop bitterness here. Let those beautiful malts shine a little brighter. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - MAR 29, 2016
Another example of a red/Amber that has been overly hopped. I prefer the stuff on the maltier side.

On tap in Melbourne, FL.
Red-amber body has excellent clarity and is topped by very nice, creamy tan head.
More erthy hops than expected, leaving this mildly bitter with a rather hoppy aftertaste. There are some toffee and dark bread flavors as well. Medium+ carbonation in a near medium body. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 2, 2015
Enjoyed a pint of this beer on tap at the brewpub. The beer had a deep ruby red color and was mostly hazy with a large, creamy tan head with great retention, and good cling and lacing. The aroma had a pleasant blend of caramel malt and grain, along with some toffee and earthy characters. The taste was a pleasant and mostly sweet with a mix of caramel and toffee, and a subtle earthy bitterness. The beer had a good carbonation with a fairly smooth and wetter mouthfeel.
