Copper coloured, thick head, mild smoke flavour, interesting. I’ll drink it again for sure.

330ml bottle from Archive. Looks great when poured into a glass. Deep foam above a toffee caramel coloured beer. Malty sweetness in the aroma with a full mouthfeel.

Also said "AC3 India Red Ale".
Clear copper to brown color, tan head. Sweet, bitter, herbal, resin taste. Resin aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium mbitterness. Warming alcohol. Sweet, malty, alcohol scent.
Didn’t get any smoked notes, though didn’t look for it either.

Pours copper with a large, lasting head. Nose shows lots of sweet darker malt. Bready and toasty notes with big melanoidin sweetness. Different flavours, a lot less sweet, although some of the bready malt remains. Some earthy hops present themselves followed by an assertive but balanced bitterness. Too much carbonation.

Lunkie (1963) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - JUN 24, 2013
Hop spice pepper malt aroma. Clear deep amber colour with poor head and lacing. Caramel malt hop pepper spice flavour. Smooth palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 11C. Clear reddish amber with a cream head. Aroma of toffee, raisins, orange zest, white pepper, a whiff of smoke. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Sweet, but perhaps not as sweet as suggested by the aroma with singed toffee and some dried fruit. A bit empty where it might have been rich. The citrus gets lost. Firm bitterness. Slightly peppery and smoky at the end. Didn’t do much for me.
