Heavy and light. So good. I've been killed by these killer hops. Give me more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Juicy hop bomb with Chinook, Citra, Amarillo and Calyspo hops. Sweet piney flavours and smooth drinking. This is a celebration beer as my girlfriend was given the all clear from her cancer battle. Good news, good beer, good times.

Pours clear golden with a slight head which vanishes quickly. Slick, oily almost juicy texture in the mouth, with a delicious strong hoppy aroma of peach and vanilla. Some biscuit like malt flavour, with a sharp bitter finish. I love the extra hopping on this beer - keeps well in the bottle and is a top notch IPA. Gets better with every mouthful, and is a really tasty beer!

BB 19.3.18 640ml from DM’s. Hazy amber, sediment present, so not clear.Head falls to thin film. Malty dominance as expected with highish ABV. Tropical, pine, Grapefruit, PawPaw, mandarine zest and lots of citrus deep down. Quite a bit of tang and zing on the palette that matches the malts.

Modern IPA style (as you could expect), has presence and power with firm hops. But..........and I get this is a very good beer, but many peers making ’same same’ styles that are on equal terms. If anything quite dry for the alcohol weight.

From a 640ml bottle on 1/6/2017. Pours a murky deep golden with a biggish foamy head. Has quite a strong citrus hop aroma. The flavour features biscuity malt, and lots of orange apricot and peach. The hops are reasonably firm and balance the sweetness very nicely. The palate is a touch slick and the carbonation average. A very solid IPA.

Hazy caramel amber pour. Great aroma of toffee, pine and a hint of citrus. Upfront malt is solid with caramel/toffee notes, but not acrid. Hop finish is long, but well balanced with pine & pineapple, not to resinous.

750ml bottle into an IPA glass (twice). Wow! I like IPA’s, but I’m not a hop head - so if you are after killer hops this might not be for you, but for me, Wow! This had the hops I was after for aroma and flavour AND then supported by a really robust malt backbone. The perfect IPA - for me. God this was good. Got better as the chill came off too (but still cold). Head reduced too quickly, but kept a ring and the lacing was pretty good. If you read my other posts, I’m not a fan of regular MG, but their rare breed are just getting better each time. Summary - great beer - really great beer. Plenty of hops but not into the Stone brewing range, so ended up being a perfect balance (for me). Only the appearance, and a slight reduction on the aroma, made me knock .4 off a total score. Outstanding.

640ml bottle. Pours a hazy straw gold with orange tinge. Minimal white head. Aroma: pine, citrus, tropical aromas dominate. Very aromatic. The hops provide a complex aroma complemented by the subtlety of the malt. Taste: citrus, pine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple flavours dominate. Very fruity flavour balance. Moderate carbonation. Mild resinous texture. Quite tasty and definitely exploding with flavour and hops. Would happy drink this brew again and again.

Hazy, golden colour with a centimetre of head from the tap. Pineapple and mango aroma with quite a strong caramel flavour. For the strength it’s easy drinking. Low carbonation - I would prefer it to be more highly carbonated.
