Very strong fruity aroma and flavours, a bit fizzy. Not really my cup of tea, an interesting beer.
Bottle from Plonk (October 2013). Hazy dark orange/amber, frothy/soapy off-white head, wheat malt, lemon peel, grassy/grapefruit hops, mild banana, doughy yeast. Different! eczematic (1325) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2014
Once again the point of difference is the problem - leave the galaxy hops out (the mountain goat "creative" bit) and this is a really lovely malty and creamy dunklerweissbock (the brooklyn bit). Add the galaxy in and it’s a dunklerweissbock drenched in orange juice and passionfruit. how is that creative? why? NBird (626) - Perth, West Australia, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2014
Looks..murky amber some sediment, sml-med head.
Smells..tropical fruits and wheat and some lager malts.

BB 29/04/14. Poured a cloudy amber colour with a big (3+ finger) light tan foamy head that diminished quickly to a collar of bubbles. Laced as spots at best. Faint aroma of hops and not much else. Taste of earthy hops that leaves a rough bitterness in the mouth. Light body. Rough bitter finish. A mix of different styles that failed. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is malt, wheat, citrus, yeast and cloves. Taste is light sweet with a puckery bitterness leading to a wheaty and yeasty finish. Nice.

Poured out of the bottle blurry orange with huge head. Grainy, malty and wheaty on the nose. Hoppy body with citrus character. Sour and bitter on the finish. Very good depth of flavour. imaragingbull (572) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 3, 2013
Bottle. Pours deep cloudy orange with big big off white head. Aromas of wheat, grain, lemon, lightly toasted malts. Medium body, big hoppy passionfruit, citrus, floral hop character over a light caramel toffee body. Finishes lightly sour, generous bitterness, smooth creamy chewy finish ALLOVATE (3030) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 27, 2013
A confusing medley of looks, aroma and taste this one turned out to be. Produces up a muddy and opaque pale brown with a very messy drab of wash atop. Fresh, bright hop nose off-set by a touch of lactic acid and sour cream - rather subtle and simple but not at all alluring. Sour and lactic on the palate with a harsh, weedy bitterness that is lasting. Very light bodied and effervescent. Tart, acidic malt with a grape-skin astringency that gets the tongue to twist. A touch of tooth-pick, a touch of lemon peel and band-aid phenols. In no way a wheat Bock at least. Not good at all. To be fair I’ll need another bottle! (64cL, BB 29/04/14, Dan Murphy’s Currambine)
