Cask, The William Wygston, Wigston. Golden with a firm off white foam. Aromas are copper with a firm cream foam. Aromas are raisins with toffee and creamy oak. Woody with earthy apple skin and bready yeast. Flavours are sweet toffee with raisins and mellow lemon and dry tea. Cask at the Railway Putney. Dark brown, still, clear, small ring of off-white head. Aroma is light, starchy, pungent, slightly farty, just a touch of sulphur. Body is medium to light, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light, watery, some cheesey hop, dry, vegetal, potato starch, finishes dry.
