Golden lively looking with a foamy head that falls to just a skim of white fizz. Fruit and musky candy, dried apricot and apple aroma. Taste is tart then sweet and alcohol warming. Would pair with roast pork and crackle really well.
Draft at CBC 2013 - Copenhagen. Pours clear yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweet doughy malt nose, some straw. Big sweet flavor with lightly tangy citrus, dough, white grapes. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with mellow alcohol, more doughy pale bread. So so. Not terribly drinkable. fonefan (50690) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2013

Bottle from first choice liquor. Pours a light golden with a small white head. Nose full of yeast, bananas, candied sugar & citric fruit. Taste is very acidic with banana and yeast tones. Heaps of sweet bread malts. Can taste the booze. This is ok but not one of mountain goats best

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. A massive head! And, a light blurry golden body. Takes a while for the head to settle. It’s light yeast fruity on the nose, I get lemonade references here. A bit thin perhaps? Don’t know. It’s quite tasty though, but perhaps a bit on the sweet side? Light Belgian flavors here, some yeast, light candied sugar - lots of it, and a little bit of grass. It’s really fruity as well with a hint of lime on the finish. Lacked a bit pinchy punch in the aroma perhaps, but solid on the taste. 04.05.2013

Bottle. Best before 29/7/13. Pours a light golden with a finger of white head. Nose is raisins, summer berries, slight wet cardboard, some bread. Body is medium and slightly syrupy. Taste is more raisin, bread, yeast, blackberry, slight sweetness, some citrus, sherry and some wet cardboard. Overall, it?s not bad but it?s certainly starting to oxidise. Past its prime. mickmac (488) - Ngunnawal, AUSTRALIA - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a small white head over a hazy gold body. Floral, musk aroma. Taste of musk, grain, clovey sourness with a bitter-sweet finish. Moderate body, with moderate carbonation. Too much body for style and a little too much yeast derived clovey flavours for a belgian golden strong ale imho. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2013
