COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Steam Ale is a crisp, certified organic ale. We incorporate a slap of wheat malt in the grist make-up and ferment it cool. We use Cascade and Citra hops to give it a fresh, zippy finish. Great as the weather warms up.

Hermod (8344) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAR 28, 2014
Bottled. Golden color, fizzy white head. Lemony, citrusy, wheaty aroma. Flavor very similar, crisp and really refreshing, some fruity hops in the short finish. Quite thin body. Session/summer brew.

From a 33 cl bottle in Sydney. Pours a hazy gold with a thick white head. Malty nose. Flavors of biscuity, some peach and grass. Light bodied, Moderate to high carbonation. Light, short finish.

Nice looking beer. Aroma is malty and has fruity hops. Flavor is sweet, "steamy".

Unde (1149) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2014
Pale yellow looks with smallish head on top. Aroma has citrus, flowers and some grassy hops. Taste is a bit mild. Some flowery hops with wheat and smallish bitterness in the end. Body is light and carbonation is medium-to-high. A mild ale from down under.

on tap at the hop factory in newcastle. clear pale golden; nutty, funky aroma suggesting some attention to detail in warm fermentation; light citric hop character with decent bitterness. not my favourite style but a good approximation of it for an australian brewery

Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2014
Just slightly hazy golden, film of head on top. Aroma has lots of fresh fruits, bit citrus and tropical fruits, caramel malt. Nice aroma. Fizzy carbonation, liht body, bit watery, sweet with quite low bitterness, finish dries bit, more malt than in aroma and unfortunately not as fresh either. Good aroma but more just ok as a whole.

kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Golden with a slight haze with a white head that stays the drink. Aroma is medium straw with some bitterness. Taste is medium bittersweet straw. Pretty decent. I can go with this in Hong Kong.

drpimento (3755) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Poured this at a good temperature with a very fizzy, then scummy head. Aroma was abundant tropical fruit with some yeast and hop. Flavor’s a bit more traditionally steam, but not much. The heavy carbonic tang hinders. Body’s a tad thin. Finish is like flavor, not very balanced, too long lasting. Never want another.
