The Steam Ale is a crisp, certified organic ale. We incorporate a slap of wheat malt in the grist make-up and ferment it cool. We use Cascade and Citra hops to give it a fresh, zippy finish. Great as the weather warms up.

Aroma is citrus & hay. Little bit more going on in the taste. Bitter orange, lemon, nectarine, rose hips. Dry finish. Quite watery though. Not a bad beer for a hot day watching the cricket. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Horse and Trap. Pours slightly cloudy with decent long white head. Aroma of rosehip and damp malt. Light flavour with bitter.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 5.12.2013
Aroma is fruity with hops and apricot. It is a bit short, which tells me about low ABV. Flavour starts with fruity hops but turns rather quickly into hay, cardboard and minerals. Feels also watery. Well, at least the aroma was nice.

330 ml bottle. 12996. BB 24/05/14. (K-Citymarket) Pirkkala, Finland.
Slightly cloudy pale yellowish golden colour with a tiny white head. Very nice fruity aroma with sweetness, exotic fruits and mild caramel. The flavour is not that interesting. Mild fruitiness, malt, mild hops and paper dryness. Not much of an aftertaste.

Bottle. Lemony colour with thin white head. Aromas of honey, lemon blossom and just a touch of bread. Simplistic, yet refreshing wheat, citrus and honey flavours. A little bit of wheat sourness and very subdued bitterness.

A very drinkable beer, with a sort of cooked feeling about it. Not overtly hoppy or overtly malty but full of a unique flavour. Im very surprised that this beer is rated so meagerly on here compared to its quality. Makes for good, easy drinking, and for a satisfied session.

cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 22, 2013
