The Steam Ale is a crisp, certified organic ale. We incorporate a slap of wheat malt in the grist make-up and ferment it cool. We use Cascade and Citra hops to give it a fresh, zippy finish. Great as the weather warms up.

From a 33cl bottle, pours a light pale straw color with a small white head that did not stay long, leaving a white ring around. Aroma of fresh citrus and light hops. Flavors of malts, fresh citrus, light hops, herbs, light spices. Very refreshing and light, nice light citrus and hop taste. soft body, but very pleasant.

A pale golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy but weak white head. A potent tropical fruit hop aroma, passion fruit, grapefruit and mango, plus a tiny bit of spice and a touch floral. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off by following on from the aroma, big tropical fruit flavours, a tad sour, with passion fruit and grapefruit predominant. There is a biscuity malt taste that comes through late, and stays well into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great beer from a great brewery. A quintessential session beer. Slight floral citrus notes and the perfect amount of bitterness.

Hazy pale gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and airy. Minerally pale malt, insipid. A tiny bit of lemon citrus, barely there. Crisp dry finish. Pretty tasteless and disappointing.

Lighter flavour, fruit citrous, slight bitterness. Ok beer. Not as good as the other mountain goats but would work well on a hot day.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2013 Pours cloudy golden in colour. Very sweet, but balanced well with hops. Citrus is the primary flavour. Could drink many and still be satisfied.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Citrus, light grain, grass. Light body, watery texture, spritzy carbonation leaving a almost tasteless finish. Light/medium sweet and bitter. Refreshing and easy to drink, but also a bit boring.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Pale golden, light blurry in the glass and it has a nice medium sized white top. Not any extreme activities going on on the aroma, but its light fruity, some hay tones, a little bit of berries and traces of thin watered down lemonade. Its about average on the carbonation and thin oily on the mouthfeel. Really easy to drink this. Only watery hints of grapefruit and melon. I actually like it for what it is. A non extreme steam beer. 03.05.2013

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours clear yellow with a pure, white foam head. Looks great. Dry pale malt nose, light dough. Light sweet flavor with white bread, pale malts, light straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very clean finish with straw, pale dry dough. Lovely. Easy drinker. Quite refreshing amid all the high ABV stuff at the fest.
