Pale yellow color. Aroma of plastic, alcohol, wildflowers; fruity; reminiscent of sunny fields. The flavor is quite sweet, with high acidity level, strong flowery flavor (not the flowery honey though), tree sap, some glue, and some late astringency. Interesting.

Bottled. A yellow mead. The aroma has notes of honey, spices, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, herbs, and flowers, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Well this is a treat. Yes it’s sweet but there is a beautifully nutty Nutella flavour here that really makes it moreish and unique. I guess this must be barrel aged for that interesting quirk to come through. I’d definitely buy some more of this sometime soon. Wonderful stuff.

Tasted at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Light yellow with no head. Overly sweet and tart taste. Not their best offering.
