Draft at the brewery/pub. What a wonderful beer and wonderful place to drink and eat. This IPA is darker than most as it pours a clear dark amber. The aroma is a burst of fresh citrus hops and the flavor is a nice body of malt encased in very fresh, fruity, citrusy hops from begininning to end. Pretty well balanced and just a great beer. Clear reddish orange pour. Big hop aroma. Lots of hops are used but the nose retains a fair balance. Smooth feeling upfront. Most of the hops are tasted on the finish, which has a sweet lingering bitterness. Very well done. jb43 (1650) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 1, 2009
(on tap at the brewpub). Copper color. Light cloudiness. Strong hop (grapefruit) aroma and flavor. Light bitterness. Avg duration. Oily texture. Good lacing. Moderate carbonation. A quality IPA; wish I would’ve brought a growler. That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - MAR 25, 2009

Draught at Southern Sun. Amber pour with amazing frothy white head that never goes away. Average lacing. Sweet citrus grapefruit notes with pine and grass. Medium carbonation, caramel sweet body and lingering bitterness to balance it out. Lots of grapefruit all around. Good IPA.

Fruity aroma of hops, peaches, pine needles and grass.
Fruity flavour of peaches, hops, grass and pine needles.
Dry hoppy finish. caesar (7097) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 9, 2008
Tap @ brewpub. Slight hazy orange color, short head. In your face come the hops, pine and grapefruit. Very bitter taste, but still starting sofe, almost creamy, and then finishing bitter, almost astringent. Great stuff.
