A strange beer. Has a slight lemon flavor and is really sweet. Smells weary and has a dirty sock aftertaste.

A braggott, at Vine Street in Denver. Also very dry like the beer before. Very well carbonated, I can feel the bubbles on my tongue. Lightly sweet honey in the aftertaste but this is a very dry mead. Now that I see the description I attribute that at least in part to the lemongrass, which I did not pick up when I was drinking it. Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 15, 2013
At mtn sun. Pours a clear copper with with a quarter finger of very rapidly head. Aroma is sweet, honey/mead, fruity/floral. Flavor is mildly fruity, bitter, honey/ mead and mild citrus in finish. Bitter aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, light body, crisp and light texture. A solid mead. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Tap at Mountain Sun into a wine glass. Pour is deep copper with a thin white head and decent lacing. Very sweet aroma, honey, super fruity, light grass, white grapes, and flowers. Taste is sweet upfront with flavors of sweet honey, flowers, tea, grass, light alcohol, and pears ending medium sweet. Sticky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Really nice braggot; super smooth and fruity. Well-done! cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Tap @ Vine Street. Pours a clear dark orange appearance with a small off white head. Herbal, dark fruity, rich honey, apple, lightly vinous, caramel aroma. Delicious caramel apple, tangy honey, wildflower floral, herbal flavor. Well balanced and delicious.

Orange-golden in color with a slight white head. Moderately sweet and hoppy earthy with a bit of warmth. Onteresting honey-fruity sweet aroma. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Pours slightly hazy yellow with nice white head on tap at the brewpub. Quite a good smelling brew, with nice notes of the orange blossom honey, but also backed with some nice spice, biscuit flavors to remind that it is a braggot and not a mead. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, but I was impressed at the balance for a wheat beer made with 130+lbs of honey, not overly sweet, well attentuated and very tasty. On tap at Southern sun with Carla. Pours deep gold with minimal off-white foam. Smells sweet and lightly citrusy. Tastes sweet with hints of honey and orange. onceblind (10593) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 22, 2011
My first braggot, and technically my first sweet mead. Color was a dark amber-ish copper, with a small white head. Aroma was honey-sweet with a fair dose of leafy or floral hop bitterness. Taste was very much the same, with the honey dominating the front and middle, finally submitting at the end to the hoppy floral bitterness. Slightly syrupy texture. Not all too complex, but it was exactly what I was looking for: a hoppy, bitter sweet mead. Highly drinkable, delightfully bitter, satisfies the sweet tooth. rougeau13 (3195) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2011
