Great oat ba’d stout. Big on bourbon, soy and burnt toffee. Amazing round mouthfeel with a long lasting vanilla flavor on the side of the palate.
Oats roll on the tongue with a long finish. Great BBA’d beer
On tap at Vine Street Pub. Black appearance with a tan head. Aroma of alcohol, molasses, vanilla, licorice, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Similar flavor with notes of caramel, cookies and light coffee. Pretty full body with a creamy feel and a bittersweet finish. The alcohol isn’t hidden very well, unfortunately. rmussman (1701) - California, USA - JUL 22, 2013

Pour on tap at Vine St is thick black with tan head, aroma brought notes of sweet oatmeal with nice chocolate/mocha notes, hints of slight roasted malt and some nice dark fruity notes in there as well. Taste brings notes of slight roasted malts, some lactose and oatmeal sweeten it up, nice dark fruits and chocolate come through with a slight roasted note, slight alcohol warmth as well. This was well done. Camons (13017) - Hasselager, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2012

Tap @ Vine Street. Dark caramel-colored head with some lacing, beer is black. Sweet strong aroma heavy with bourbon. Taste is extremely sweet, candy and burnt caramel and with lots and lots of bourbon. Thick mouthfeel/body, medium carbonation, lots of lingering sweetness on the finish along with some heat from the alcohol. Intense and too sweet to order again.
