Pro-Am Tap at GABF 2010. Patricks Big IPA. Pours a nice clear bright orange copper with a lasting foamy white head- some lace. Aroma is resinous dank weedy hops, citrus, columbus funk, yet clean- no garlic, citrus is big, grapefruit is nice and light tropical hitns. Flavor is light caramel, dusty cracker, and tons of pine, resin, dank hops, citrus, oily, lemon orange, weed tincture that someone gave me at a bar the night before, pine sap, and pineapple juice. resinous finish. On tap at Southern Sun poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of tangerine, peach, biscuit, pink grapefruit and pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Big bold hoppy nose. Lots of floral notes as well as grapefruit and other citrus. Biscuity and light malt. Pours pale amber/golden, looks nice in the glass. The flavor is also very bold and hoppy; dry with light malt notes. Lots of floral and citrus note, dry and refreshing. Very good.

Flavor is average malt (grainy, hay, straw), average hops (earthy, woody), average esters (apple/pear) with notes of cheese. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth and creaminess, dry finish.
