On tap at Southern Sun. Clear light amber with a very thin cap head. Big toffee nose with a touch of...vanilla yogurt (?) and a shade of citric hops. The taste starts a little awkward but smooths out. The palate hits first with some English yeast and a weird grassy hop note, but gets overtaken with a big toffee wave. draft. hazed pale amber. starchy, grassy, spiced hop nose. the EKG have modest resin with medium to mild bitterness and play well with the starchy powdered milk yeast character. malt is crunchy and toasty, carbonation is solid, froth is adequate, finish is prickly and grassy with light touches of dried fruit. decent.
