Had this "full moon firkin" draft at Vines in Denver. Light orange pour with moderate head. Perfect floral and citrus taste and aroma. Love it onceblind (9674) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2011
On tap @ Vine Street Brewpub. Clear gold with a fluffy white head, lots of lace. Amazing aroma; smells like a cake batter with hops. Im smelling resinous pine, sugary orange rind, some faint floral hoppiness...incredibe aroma. Unfortunately, the taste was too green veggie and peppery. Soft celery and fake orange juice tones. Just foul and unpleasant, with a discouraging hop flavor. Shame. Smelled like a dream though. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 15, 2011
On tap @ Vine Street. Golden yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Huge grapefruit hoppy, slight caramel nose. Caramel, toffee malty, grapefruit, somewhat bitter hoppy flavor. Not too bad but not really that great. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 25, 2011
On tap at Southern Sun with Carla and Will. Pours a hazy gold with white foam. Smells fruity and floral. Tastes like centennial hops with an unfiltered body. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Sample at Vine Street Pub in Denver. The beer pours a hazed amber-orange color with a medium white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing. Floral hops aroma as well as caramel malt notes. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops flavor that has floral and citric notes. The finish is hoppy and lingering. Above average overall.

Draught. Hazy orange with medium white head. Aroma of fruity hops; very floral, somewhat sweet. Taste is dominate by the large quantity of hops, also very floral, not all that well balanced. Taste too much like soap. Bitter throughout. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 19, 2009
tap at Mountain Sun - Pours hazy light copper and a lingering white head. There’s a pleasant citrus hop aroma. The flavor is well balanced malt with plenty of grapefruit accented hops. Medium bodied and finishing crisp and bitter, this IPA is a good one. notalush (5878) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 27, 2009
Nitro at Vine Street - super hazy with a sticky lace that leaves rings around the glass as you drink - this brewer makes some solid ipas - very resiny, with a potent, drying bitterness that is counter-balanced by just enough sweetness and malt heft to keep it from being simply light and bitter - a lot of grapefruit pith, perhaps a tad too much, but otherwise solid. On nitro tap in Jan 09: Pours a transparent deep golden with a rich, well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of fresh resiny grapefruity hops and lightly sweet pale malt. Starts with a smooth creamy palate and nice light malty sweetness with good assertive citrusy hoppy balance before a crisp bittersweet finish. A very nice IPA. Crushed with Jakebra on tap at the brewpub. Nice nose. Flavor isn’t as good. It’s a decent IPA, but nothing spectacular.
