On tap at Southern Sun. Murky orange-brown. Soapy off-white head. Moderate ABV, but big and bold flavor. Fruity and sweet, very full bodied for 5.6%. Fruity Belgian yeast dominates, making it rather big and rugged. Saaz and Amarillo shine, but just end up adding to the overwhelming nature of the beer. Dry finish, but a lot of thick orange-caramel tones up front. OK. Ratman197 (15117) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 21, 2010

On tap @ Southern Sun brewpub. Coppery light orange in color. White bubbly head, leaves quickly but leaves a good cap. Smells of fruits like banana, apple, and apricot. Apparent lemony hops. Taste is fruity sweet, like a blend of malts and apricot or peach. Hoppy enough to fulfil hoplovers, but is also flowery and sweet. Subtle yeastiness. Somewhat chewy texture. A nice blend of Belgian and American Pale styles. Very very drinkable. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 26, 2010

mountain sun, boulder. nose primarily of ginger, candy sugar and juniper berries, with lighter notes of sweet and floral garlic and soapy/floral yeast esters/dough. some hint of mint or green apple noticed nearer to room temperature. rich body full of sugar, somewhat crystalline and caramelized but not to a level I would describe as burnt. surprisingly clean throughout, and crisp with a mild sweetness in the finish after it dried out across the back. minerally hop bitterness. excellent beer from mountain sun. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2009

Tap at Vine Street - burnished copper color - frothy, lasting head - this sucker is wonderfully dry, with a crisp bitterness, and a strong finish of toasted grains - very light belgian yeast esters and earthy character - some spiciness in the finish compliments the toasty qualities - light, crisp, refreshing - quite nice.
