Draft at the brewery. Clear amber-brown with a short white head. Maltly aroma is crunchy crystal malt / cereals / grape nuts, caramelized sugar, peanuts; hops are expressed as fruit cocktail, orange, herbs, spice, wood. Medium body (richer than expected for 5.5 pale ale), sticky, chewy, bitter, lightly astringent. Pretty generic pale ale with a lot of crystal malt character and muted / unclear hop expression. Not very interesting.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a dark copper color with a light head. Not much from the aroma. Some hops but that is it. Light, hoppy taste with a grapefruit twist to it. Light, dry finish. Decent pale. ajnepple (6981) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2014

14 oz nonic type draft at the brewery tasting room in Golden, Colorado. The pour is clear golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is citrus floral along with a hint of cracker malt. The taste is fresh, lightly cracker malt sweet, floral citrus hops and a bit of soap near the back. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and the soapy finish. The flavors integrated nicely as the beer warmed.

Sample at the taproom. Clear dark orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
