LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - FEB 23, 2008
Draft at Moxie’s Toronto - A very well put together beer. Huge white head and crystal clear golden body. Rich malty flavor with a nice bite at the end of each swallow. I could drink this beer by the gallons. As other have noted, the temperature of the beer was perfect and not served too cold like so many other similar type establishments.

En fût au Moxie’s. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche. Arôme de grains et houblon...un peu tchèque. En bouche, grains et herbes. Finale un peu amère et malt. Pas mal bonne.

On tap at Moxies, Kingsway Mall, Edmonton. Served in a straight sided etched "Big Life" glass with a fill line. Gold colour, impressive head - white, creamy a good inch of foam in the glass. Left a lot of lacing. Slow rising carbonation bubbles. Some grainy notes to the aroma. Flavour was sweeter than I expected. Malty, a little fruity. Aftertaste had a bit of grain. Nlot too bad, and as Duffman stated, not served ice cold.

on tap at moxie’s in guelph on (stone road mall). clear yellow with minimal carbonation. small aroma of pale malt and light hopping. bacis all malt lager with a touch of bittering hops. not bad for a pale lager exclusively brewed for a chain of restaurants by a macro brewer. id have it again.

I had this as a draft at Moxie’s in Halifax, but Henry House claimed to have it on tap, too. Faint malted grain aroma. Golden lager colour body that was completely clear. Ample white head with tight bubbles. Surprising amount of lacing for a lager. Taste is sweet malt, a light sourness with some cereal on the finish. Crisp, light body. Overall, much better than a typical macro lager. I’d recommend trying it if you happen to find yourself at Moxie’s

On tap at Moxie’s Grill on Wellington Road in London, ON- Pale yellow and pours a tiny bubbled, frothy head, that is pretty short lived. Some lace on the frosty mug. The nose is of pale malts, grains, some lemon, slight grass. Tastes of somewhat sweet corn and grains. There is also a lemony contingent that I got about mid palate. Mild, crisp somewhat sweet finish with only a tiny bit of lingering bitterness. Not too bad. Food I had was good too.

Pours a clear straw colour with a robust head. Aroma notes include cereals, sawdust, caramel, and peppery. Tasting notes include light honey, slight floral, sweet cereals. The malts in this beer creep on the edge of being cloying but are contained enough that the beer works. A peppery finish is nice. This is a decent lager, better than the macro crap that moxies serves.

Got this at Moxie’s on my wife’s birthday, with families, as Euro lager. Nice and smooth.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2007 Had this on tap at the Scarborough Town location. Restaurant wasn’t bad; food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. Anywho, this was a pretty good beer. Golden appearence with a nice head. This one tasted fresh had a bready/grainy aroma and taste. Sweet finish, went well with my halibut dish. Definitely will try the amber next time I visit, maybe with a steak.

On tap @ Moxies Yorkdale, Toronto: Golden with a brief frothy head. Notes of malt and grain in the nose. Taste is same with an almost creamy palate and a sweet end. Decent lager.
