I tasted this a while back, and I just now found my notes: "Red-brown color. Rich brandy and dried apricot aroma. Lightly sour, lightly bitter flavor. A perfect ending for the night." Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Found this way back in my notebook from Sourfest. Hazy amber. Nose sweet and light hint of Brett. Taste is kinda same. Light fruit, hay, brett. Rather plain. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Backlog from Sourfest 2010. Pours copper orange. Nose is sweet. Taste is sweet and a big old eh eh eh eh eh. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 30, 2010
Sample at stone sour ale fest 2010. Amber pour, off-white head. Sweet malt, toffee, fruit, light brett, funk, and lightly sour. Interesting, yet not that great. Ok. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 19, 2010
On tap at Sour Fest. Pours with a tan head over a murky brown body. Aroma of whiskey, wood and brown sugar. Taste is wood, pine, light brett, earthy, soil. Light bubbles. Not that great.

Mild nose, mostly just hints of peat and just a hint of brett. Flavor was mild on the scottish, which was nice, brett ate up most of the sweetness, end product was dry and drinkable with a nice level of hay. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 18, 2010
Stone Sourfest. Amber hue with no head. Nose is sweet malts mostly, very faint tart fruits. Flavor is mostly the base malty kiltlifter, hints of tart fruit and bret sourness are mostly overwhelmed here, some alcohol warmth in the sweet finish. This could use more aging and/or Bret, the malts are still the primary flavors here. leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 8, 2010
Draft at Belmont Station’s first Barrel Aged Monday. Appearance is a weird light hazy brown. Aroma is slightly sweet but with a little sour edge. Flavor is lightly sweet malts, caramel, with a nice tart apple edge. Yum! Slightly funky, mostly a little apply, hops are barely noticeable. This was a treat. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 4, 2010
Tap at Toronado SD. That’s why this brew was different, Brett. Pours hazy red/brown with a thin offwhite head that leaves specks of lace. Smells like a sour, fruity, sweet and musty. Kind of bland. Tastes sour and fruity for sure. Sweet with some lingering weird flavors, must and dishtowel. Coating, medium body with low carbonation. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Tap at Toronado 2nd anny. Hazy deep copper color with a very small off white ring. Nice nose of light tart brett notes, some tart cherry notes as well. Pretty damn tasty.
