Bottled. Deep ambery brown, close to black, colour with a small beigeish brown head that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is roasted malts, some sweet maltyness, ashes as well as chocolate, coffee and mild liquorice. Clear dark amber beer. Short lived light tan head. Semi dry palate, slightly soft. Smooth dark malt. Just a hint of roastiness. A little minerals in the semi dry finish. Well balanced if very standard porter.

Bottle at home with Drew and Lyoli. Pours dark brown with a medium, creamy beige head. Rich, medium roast aroma with aroma featuring chocolate, mocha-like syrup. Flavor is medium sweet, has some mild caramel and chocolate, lightly burnt wood, faint bitterness. Medium in body with fine, creamy carbonation.
