Draft. A high-boost scotch ale, some smokey and fruit notes, quite sweet and boozy.

Dark brown with medium beige head. Bread aroma. Mild malty bread taste followed by some bitterness. Notes of dried fruits.

On Tap Hazy redish brown with a modest light tan head. Even full sheets of lacing. Sweet caramel toasted malt aroma. Earthy peaty flavors. Not overly sweet, and not particularly big or rich. Not so sure this is the "double’ actually.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Deep red amber, small tanned head. Nose is sweet syrup, molasses, caramel, mocha, sticky toffee, nice & sticky in a good way. Taste is a sugary treat, sweet caramel, sugar, candy, brown sugar, toffee, faint cough syrup, warming, thick cake,... Thick syrupy body. Lovely if you love huge sugary & sweet candy beer.

No retention and light lacing. Smells of caramel, light sour fruits and bourbon. Tastes of sweet caramel, dark fruits and alcohol. Alcoholic aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

from notes:
tap at Beer Revolution. Bigger and peetier than the normal version, slghtly sweeter and more alcoholic as well. Missing the astringency KL can have sometimes. Good stuff.

Poured from bottle. Light in color. Butterscotch hint and very sweet in taste. Great for dessert beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Sugar Maple. Clear ruby with a thin off-white cap. Aroma of toffee, sweat socks and faint dark fruits. Taste of toffee, light peaty and smoked notes and not much in terms of hops. While not bad, it never really made it there for me.

This beer has a very pleasing aroma of apples soaked in brandy. It has a rich reddish brown color. It has very much the flavor of brandy. Sweet and a little sour. A very very good beer. A must try for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
